Meet the 28GORILLA Team
Before Co-founding 28Gorilla, Andy held global engineering leadership positions at A.O.Smith and Generac, where he managed engineering teams in the US, Europe, and Asia.
He holds several patents in motor design and led Generac’s Smart Platform Initiative and New Product Introduction team. He is a former UL delegate for the standards committee and has founded and launched numerous data-based companies.
Jordan joined 28Gorilla from Nant Energy where he served as a Senior Engineer developing control algorithms for lithium-ion Hybrid batteries.
Before this, Jordan worked at Generac Power Systems, designing, developing, and leading several microcontroller and wireless connectivity projects.
Peter joined 28Gorilla from ZPower, where he worked with Silver Zinc battery technology. Before this, Peter was an engineer at Nant Energy developing embedded software for Zinc Air and Lithium Battery Management Systems.
Peter’s work also included improving overall round trip efficiency and reliability of Zinc Air batteries via software.
Sindre studied abroad at the University of Oslo in Norway where he was an active member of the local makerspace. He has extensive experience with different startups ranging from electric skateboards to electric vehicles, motorcycles, and trucks.
Sindre’s true passion for electronics came from growing up working on electrical projects with his grandpa.
Alyssa joined 28Gorilla from Arizona State University, where she studied Electrical Engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was enrolled in the Barrett Honors program, where she studied human system factors in engineering using eye tracking in her honors thesis.
Alyssa specializes in hardware, and some of her skills include PCB layout design, soldering, and performing circuit analysis.
James has a background in science, data analytics, entrepreneurship, and software development.
The National Science Foundation funded his past work, and Arizona State University awarded him the Most Outstanding Student of the Year in 2017.
Nemanja joined 28Gorilla with a science, entrepreneurship, and product management/development background.
He graduated with honors from Arizona State University before co-founding a health-tech startup.
Kendall is from Overton, Nevada. She made her way to Arizona and started her career in the service industry as a server, bartender, and manager and has been in the industry for 15 years.
Throughout her career, she has applied her skills in all aspects of her life. Currently, Kendall works to assist our engineers with daily tasks, such as soldering, to help complete projects.
Lauren is currently a student at Arizona State University, getting her degree in Mechanical Engineering. She started at ASU back in 2019, and she came to 28Gorilla to get hands-on experience in the engineering field.
She helps the engineers whenever possible, perfecting her soldering skills and learning real-life solutions through mechanical and electrical engineering.
Megan moved to Arizona from Chesterfield, Virginia, back in 2017. Since then, she has held positions in various customer service-orientated jobs.
Megan currently works as the Admin for 28Gorilla and helps with duties at the front desk and in the labs when needed.
